  3. WIERING SOFTWARE LICENSE AGREEMENT

  6. IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY: This license agreement
  7. ("AGREEMENT") is an agreement between you (either as an
  8. individual or a single entity) and Wiering Software
  9. ("WIERING SOFTWARE") for the software product identified
  10. above, including any associated media and accompanying
  11. on-line or printed documentation and also any future
  12. versions, patches or updates ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT").
  13.  
  14. By installing, copying, accessing or otherwise using this
  15. software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this
  16. AGREEMENT.

  19. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
  20.  
  21. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is owned by WIERING SOFTWARE and is
  22. protected by copyright laws and international copyright
  23. treaties. The software is licensed, not sold.
  24.  
  25. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is distributed as SHAREWARE. A free
  26. limited unregistered version ("SHAREWARE VERSION") is
  27. available for evaluation. You can register the SOFTWARE
  28. PRODUCT and obtain a private registration code, which
  29. will allow you to use the full version of the SOFTWARE
  30. PRODUCT ("REGISTERED VERSION").

  33. LICENSE FOR THE UNREGISTERED SHAREWARE VERSION
  34.  
  35. This LICENSE grants you the following rights and
  36. limitations, regarding the SHAREWARE VERSION:
  37.  
  38.   - You may install and use the SHAREWARE VERSION for an
  39.     unlimited time.
  40.  
  41.   - You may copy and distribute the SHAREWARE VERSION of
  42.     the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, but only in its original form
  43.     (as found on the WIERING SOFTWARE web site) and
  44.     without any modifications.
  45.  
  46.   - Distributors may sell the SHAREWARE VERSION for a
  47.     reasonable fee for media and handling, but must
  48.     indicate clearly that the software is "shareware".
  49.  
  50.   - Magazines are authorized to publish the SHAREWARE
  51.     VERSION on any cover disk, CD-ROM or other media
  52.     without prior permission from WIERING SOFTWARE (please
  53.     do send a notification).
  54.  
  55.   - You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble
  56.     or make changes to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in any way.

  58.   - To register this SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you may only use
  59.     your personal registration code, provided by WIERING
  60.     SOFTWARE or another authorized party. You may not
  61.     attempt to 'discover' your code or write software to
  62.     do so. You may not use a code that belongs to someone
  63.     else.

  66. LICENSE FOR THE REGISTERED VERSION
  67.  
  68. This LICENSE grants you the following rights and
  69. limitations, regarding the REGISTERED VERSION:
  70.  
  71.   - You may install and use the REGISTERED VERSION on your
  72.     own computer. If you own several computers, you may
  73.     install the REGISTERED VERSION on those as well, but
  74.     only use it on one computer at a time.
  75.  
  76.   - You may make a copy of the REGISTERED VERSION as a
  77.     backup.
  78.  
  79.   - You may not make copies of the REGISTERED VERSION for
  80.     others.
  81.  
  82.   - You may not make your registration code available to
  83.     others.

  85.   - You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble
  86.     or make changes to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT in any way.

  89. DISCLAIMER

  91. THE SOFTWARE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY
  92. OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT
  93. NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  94. AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE ENTIRE RISK AS
  95. TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE PROGRAM IS WITH
  96. YOU. SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, YOU ASSUME THE
  97. COST OF ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR OR CORRECTION.

  99. IN NO EVENT WILL WIERING SOFTWARE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR
  100. DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY GENERAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR
  101. CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE, MISUSE OR
  102. INABILITY TO USE THE PROGRAM (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  103. LOSS OF DATA OR LOSSES SUSTAINED BY YOU OR THIRD PARTIES
  104. OR A FAILURE OF THE PROGRAM TO OPERATE WITH ANY OTHER
  105. PROGRAMS), EVEN IF WIERING SOFTWARE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF
  106. THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
